Sonic and Shahra entered the room, in which they saw the Erazor Djinn vanish into. After they placed the seven World Rings in an oval shaped door. Entering, they scanned the area. There was a red carpet in front of some short stairs, that lead to a golden chair. Around them was a couple of stands which all were lit with flames and a few pillars that lead to a balcony.

But the thing that caught there eye, was a familiar golden sword sticking out of the red carpet.

Purple smoke started to emmit from it, forming a very familiar shape...a shape of a dark spirit...

"You just don't give up, do you?" The blue hedgehog smirked. Shahra, however, just stared at the pink skinned genie. Who returned the smirk with hate and want.

"You have brought the seven World Rings. Well done!" Erazor praised, clapping his hands as his body turned solid from the ghost like form. His rough voice made the hedgehog's ears shot back slightly.

"Of course. We're such good buddies, after all." Sonic said playfully as well as sarcastically.

The Djinn then locked his eyes with Shahra's, "Shahra..." She gasped as she saw the look in his eyes: Want, hatred and something no-one could describe. "You have done well in using him to gather the rings...Now..." He stretched out a hand, "...Give them to me!"

"Hold on!" Sonic interuptted, pointing at flame embedded in his chest, which just shrunk a size, he said quickly, "Aren't you gonna do something about his?"

"Shahra..." The Erazor Djinn spoke huskily, "...Please, quickly. Let us rule the world together!"

To Sonic's surprise, Shahra floated towards him with all seven World Rings surrounding her. "Shahra!" Sonic shouted, surprised, "W-What's--"

"I-I..." The pink haired genie stuttered, "...I must."

Desperatly, the blue hedgehog called, "Shahra! Stop" You can't do this! Think about what will happen!"

She lowered her head and let a single tear escape her eye, "I'm sorry...I must." Then she looked at the floor, in what Sonic noticed was one thing: Regret. "I just want to be back with him."

Sonic gasped, "No!" He placed his finger on the gold ring around his middle finger on his right hand and rubbed it. "As genie of the ring, i command you!" He raised a hand at her, "'Do what you trully think is right!"

Suddenly, what looked like lightning, emitted from Sonic's fingers and shot at Shahra. "Ahhh!" She grabbed her head and screamed, before she hit the ground with a very loud thud.

And before to long, Sonic realised she was hurt, "Shahra!" He ran over to her, and placed a gloved hand onto her back.

"Prayers..." Sonic looked up and saw the Erazor with the seven rings surrounding him. "Sadness, Rage, Joy, Pleasure, Wishes." The Erazor Djinn looked ateach one and continued, "These are the seven rings that bind these pages together."

"Wha-" Sonic breathed, removing his hand from the back of his friend and stood as if in a duel with the Erazor Djinn.

"But, the life of the collector of the rings, shall be offered up in sacrific as the key for that control." The evil spirit then pulled the golden sword out of the ground and then pointed it at the azure speedster. "I offer up your life...blue hedgehog!"

Sonic didn't have time to react, he saw the Djinn run at him with the sword poitning at his heart. He knew this was the end. And as the sword was inches away from him, he closed his eyes and...

...Nothing...

He felt...nothing...the pain of the sword running through him, didn't happen. But he felt something different like someone was hugging him. Like they were guarding, protecting him...But then...who would save him...?

'As the master of the ring...I am now bound to protect you...' Sonic's eyes snapped open in sudden reaslisaion...and to his horror, he saw his savour...a certain genie...

...Shahra...

He gasped, as he saw the sword sticking out of her back. And noticed the grip around his neck loosen, as the Erazor Djinn smirked forcefully, yanked the sword from her body.

...She then fell to the ground with a louder thud then before...

"SHAHRA!!!" He yelled, quickly kneeling down next her. She ws breathing heavily, her chest had a big blood stain over it and the usual glimmer in her eyes...were fading...

"Sonic..." His jade eyes connected with her's. She was looking at him, "I'm...sorry..." She sharply inhaled, as she advertted her eyes to the floor, before resting her head against it. "I knew...all along what would happen..." As she was, Sonic was on the verge of tears. "...And i still got you involved."

Sonic gently placed a hand behind her head and lifted her up, and spoke gently, "It-It's okay." He saw Shahra quicly inhale again, "It-It's not your fault..."

She locked eyes with his, and looked at him with pain, regret and worry. "Did I change...my d-d-destiny?"

She gasped and raised a hand so that her right hand was grasping his shoulder. Sonic felt her grip tighten. He didn't care. Shahra was dying...on his behalf..."Did..I-I keep our promise?" She let a few tears slip from her eyes and his heart broke.

Desperatly he asked, "Shahra...grant me a wish..." She looked at him, and arched a bit. "...I wish for you to not die and to go back to the way you were!"

"I-I'm so s-sorry, master..." She gently leant side ways into his hand, "...I can not grant..."

...Silence...

...Silence was all that followed...

Suddenly, the blue hedgehog felt the ring on his finger vanish...break into pieces, then turn to dust.

Then, there was a loud clang...as Shahra's hand hit the floor with her golden braclet around her wrist. Her breathing has stopped...her chest had stopped rising and falling...her grip on his shoulder had lost and her eyes closed...with her final tears running down her face...

Sonic looked hopefully at her, hoping she was just playing a trick...but no sign of her life was showing...then for the first time in his life...Sonic shed his first tears...

He gently lifted her head, and pressed his lips against her forehead. His eyes closed as he held her close to his body. He was broken...his tears ran down his face, past his chin and onto Shahra's hair as he placed her head under his chin.

...She was truly dead...

And as Sonic had a final moment, her body turned into golden particals and flew off into the air, dissolving as quickly as they were made.

A dark voice from a dark being then filled the room. "In the end...such is the weak power of he Genie of the Ring."

Sonic stood up. Anger and sadness filled his heart. Sadness: For the death of a friend. And anger: For the person that killed her. He turned to him. His ears stood up and his eyes shot glares at the other genie.

Suddenly, the seven World Rings shot at the Erazor Djinn and entered his body. He screamed in pain as his sides grew out four more arms and his own change in size and shape. His head turned into what looked like a cyclops with very sharp teeth and his legs vanish and tunred into what looked like robotic ones. His body grew what looked like three times his original size or bigger. His muscles grew as he screamed, "WHAAAAGH!!!"

Then a bright light shone from his body and Sonic had to raise a hand to make sure he din't go blind from it.

A voice then boomed through the building, "I AM ALF LAYLA WA-LAYLA!!!" The light turned dark as if it had been poisoned. "I AM THE ARABIAN NIGHTS!!! I WILL BE IT'S NEW CREATOR!!!" The light dimmed and vanished, "I WILL CREATE THIS WORLD INTO A REALITY IN MY OWN IMAGE!!!!!!", to then reveal a hideous monster.

Covered in red symbols, six arms, one eye and seven holes in its' body. Sonic took a step back, and looked at the new Erazor Djinn with horror and disgust. "This is awful." He spoke softly. "Your just some...incomplete monster!"

Then to Sonic's surprise, four of the seven World Rings broke free of Alf Layla Wa-Layla's body...and headed straight at Sonic!

They clamped ont Sonic's body before emerging with it.

"AHHHHHH!!!!" He screamed. Sonic fell on his knees and grasped his head. The pain was taking over him before that pain turned to anger.

He felt his quills grow longer and his body change.

When the transformation was over, Sonic had changed...he had changed alot.

His body was no longer blue it was now purple with two white stripes, like racing cars, came from the top of his eyes and across his head and down his top quill. Maing that only one white. His chest turn from pale to white and the flame on his chest vanished. But the thing that stood out was his eyes...he had none...he had no pupil or iris...or that was there was white.

The rings that slammed on him where  on his body. One on his left wrist, one on his right wrist, one on his left ankle and one on his right ankle. He could tell which ones had entered and merged with his body.

Hatred, Rage and Sadness...

With a new power in his body, Sonic stood up grasping the remains of Shahra's ring in his gloved hand, "We've got to...stop him! Shahra!!" He called tightening his grip on the ring which suddenly started to glow, "Please...lend me your....POWER!!!!"

The area then changed, for the room had changed into what looked like space.

"I am...THE CREATOR!!! THE STORIES OF THIS WORLD...ARE MINE!!!!" Alf Lyala Wa-Lyala declared. Spinning around and making power to silence the hedghog once and for all.

"Hmph!" Now Darkspine Sonic, crossed his arms, and snorted, "If this is your world then I don't want any part of it!!!"

Then, the fight for the world began...

But Sonic knew he could win...because of one thing...he had made a promise...
